Our team relies on the generosity of sponsors to pay for the various fees associated with being a FRC team.

Every year, FIRST requires a $6000 registration fee for our first two competitions. If we advance to the NE District Championship, it is an additional $4000. If we make it to Worlds, we would need an additional $5000. That does not include the cost of the robot, however.

Constructing the robot itself is expensive, usually totaling $7000 by its completion, not including the mass of prototype materials. As has everything else, the materials we need to build our robot continuously increase in cost, especially the electronics. We would also like money to purchase any constructions on the game field that would be difficult to reproduce ourselves.

This year, as part of our outreach efforts, we are working to create two FIRST Lego League teams at the local middle schools. We would like to increase robotics knowledge at a younger age to help improve the knowledge of incoming members and inspire them to pursue their own STEM-related interests. This endeavor also costs money, though considerably less. Any excess money we have will be going towards the creation and support of these teams until they can support themselves.

Sponsors help us expand our capabilities with materials and new equipment to enable us to better learn and build improved robots to compete with.

All to empower the students now so we can build up our futures.
